lake joondalup bike hire
Lake Joondalup Bike Hire opened in April 2010 with the aim to provide local families and visitors to Perth with a fun, easy to access, outdoor activity. Located at the northern end of Lake Joondalup, LJBH is in the perfect position to provide visitors with easy access to a number of different riding trails, with rides to suit everyone from families with young children through to the more advanced rider looking for an all day adventure.
Neil Hawkins Park is just 4km away from Lake Joondalup Bike Hire. Here you’ll find native birds and ducks to feed, a children’s play ground, BBQ and picnic facilities and if you’re lucky, you may even see a kangaroo or two.
The Lake Joondalup trail takes riders all the way around the lake, passing through beautiful, natural bush land and parks. At just over 17km this ride will take a little more fitness.
From LJBH, riders can access the coastal bike path that stretches from Burns Beach to Fremantle and beyond. A great sightseeing opportunity taking in some amazing scenery and Perth’s famous coastline.
Explore Perth from Lake Joondalup Bike Hire. Perth is a cycle friendly city with dedicated networks of bike paths covering the metropolitan area, over 700km over cycle paths in total! Transperth train and ferry services are also bicycle friendly, making the city a great place to explore by pedal power.
